Italian Meatless Falafel Balls

What you need: 

1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3/4 cup water
1 cup TVP
3/4 cup chickpeas, mashed
1/3 cup plain vegan yogurt (I use soy)
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons flour (I use chickpea)

What you do: 

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet. Mix dried herbs, spices, and soy sauce in small dish. Bring water to a boil and add to spice mixture.
2. Pour liquid over TVP and let rehydrate 5-10 minutes. Add chickpeas and remaining ingredients to TVP.
3. Add additional flour if mixture doesn't hold together well enough. Form into 1" meatless balls and place on cookie sheet.
4. Bake in oven 8-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Serve with sauce of choice.
Source of recipe: I made this up trying to make a meatless meatball and it ended up being half falafel.
