SO HOW'D IT GO?

ok, so the first time I made them, I was really disappointed--they were too salty and barely edible.

BUT

I tried again, using much less salt and not spraying the baking sheet..and they are AMAZING!!

I just bought more kale today so I can make more tomorrow. Thanks for sharing this great and easy recipe!

These are addictive.  I made them to use up some kale that was a bit limp.  I can't keep my hands off it now.  Thanks for posting.

too funny. these tasty 'chips' had my two little boys clamoring for more kale! that's a nifty trick ;) my 5 year old said they were kind of like nori strips.

i really wanted to try this recipe. it was not cheap for a small bunch of organic kale around here. so, i probably won't be making anymore soon. maybe i'll try growing some.

thanks!

So I had never had kale before and I love these!!! I tried them about two weeks ago, and I make myself a small batch every few days. It's a great snack that really satifies my cravings for something salty and oily.  :)>>>

Omm nom nom nom nom.
Delicious!
Shame that they don't keep well however, I'd love to always have a bag on hand!

Just tried these because I was so curious.  They were pretty darn good!  I made a small batch and only used 1 tsp. of the oil and vinegar and then ground sea salt and pepper on top.  I mixed in a bowl before baking and just guessed at the time - until they "sounded" crispy when I flipped them.  I definitely agree that you should cut them up pretty small and not overuse the seasoning ingredients.

These would be a great snack during a movie or while working, they're something that's perfect for mindless snacking but still super healthy for you!

Thanks for the great and unique idea!  :)
