this is also great with a splash of balsamic vinegar!

This was a good base recipe but I like a little more flavor so I took the suggestion and added nutritional yeast and thyme.

good. i boiled the kale first for about 3-5 minutes. even better with broccoli, toasted sesame oil, tofu marinated in tamari sauce, raisins, & atop a bed of wholewheat couscous. (note: use the kale's leftover boiled water to cook the couscous if you care about your tastebuds at all.) i was going to add spinach and then i forgot, but let's pretend that i added it and it was awesome, too. maybe i was really thirsty, but this was so good with super cold water. not 'good' like how everything is good with water, but really...really...good.

this recipe was quick and amazing! I added pine nuts, nutriotnal yeast, thyme, some cumin, and salt. I bet it would be even better over some quinoa instead of the rice.

Enjoyed the other veggies sauted with the kale (more so than the kale itself! ::))

Added about 1/4 cup onion and 1 garlic clove, minced and sauted that first. Then added 1 tomato, diced, and 4 large mushrooms diced (about 1/2 cup mushrooms). Then steamed the kale.

Really enjoyed the tomato and mushroom. This was our first time cooking kale, and it was better tasting than turnip greens, but still enjoy spinach best. The kale was more bitter than spinach. Great start though- might do with more onion, some oregano or basil and serve with pasta. Thanks!

I modified this a little bit, adding some green pepper, bowtie pasta and butter beans with garlic salt and a few other spices. It was reeeeeally good, I went back for seconds. :)

Absolutely DELISH! A perfect combination of ingredients and so easy to make. I've been wanting to try kale for awhile as it is so very  high in nutrients. Now with this recipe, I will definitely be cooking it often.

I just made this tonight and the whole family loved it. It was so quick and easy. I did add a splash or two of braggs to the cooking liquid and than topped with a squirt of lemon lemon juice and salt and pepper. I made it as a side dish but it was the best part of the meal. Thank you for such a good and EASY recipe!

My first cooking experience with kale, and it was a great success.  I wasn't quite sure what to expect - the leaves seemed tough, I didn't know how it would wilt down - like spinach? but it ended up great.  I added a little more garlic.
