Katie and Caitlin's Oatmeal

What you need: 

1 cup quick cooking oats
1 3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup or 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon water and 1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
additional sweetener if wanted

What you do: 

Cook the oatmeal until done. Mix up all of the other stuff and serve. My friend Katie and I always make this at 1:00 am when I go over to her house. Damn is it good.

I'm eating this for dinner right now.  I just added the chocolate powder, didn't bother with the water or sweetener.  Soooo good!

Mmmmmm....
this is a quick and perfectly simple way to satisfy a sweet tooth at breakfast or anytime.  I had tried adding PB to oatmeal before, but it always turned out kind of yucky...I think the combination of chocolate (I used cocoa powder with a bit of extra maple syrup) with the PB really makes it.

Oh, and for those who usually prefer creamy PB (like myself), I recommend using crunchy, because it adds a fun texture to the oatmeal!
