1 - 20 oz can sauerkraut
1 pound tofu
smart dogs or other "hot dogs" 1 pkg.
Granny Smith apples
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a skillet brown the cubed tofu in the vegetable oil.
Place the cubed tofu in the casserole dish.
On top of the cubed tofu layer hot dogs.
Empty the can of sauerkraut atop the layered tofu and hot dogs.
Add water to cover the tofu and hot dogs.
Sprinkle brown sugar over sauerkraut.
Cut apple in thin slices and place these slices atop the sauerkraut.
Cover casserole dish and bake at 350 F for 30 to 45 minutes until apples are browned.
