Mushroom Toast

What you need: 

1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons vegan butter
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup nondairy milk
4 slices buttered toast

What you do: 

1. Heat butter in a frying pan. Saute the mushrooms, salt and pepper.
2. In a little bowl, mix the cornstarch and milk.
3. Add mixture to frying pan and stir constantly at low heat for 1-3 minutes (depending on the thickness you prefer).
4. Serve on toast.
