No-Can Cranberry Sauce
6 ounces pitted dates (about 3/4 cup after being processed)
8 ounces (about 3 cups) cranberries
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 cup water
1. Process the dates in a food processor or blender until well broken down. Combine the cranberries, orange juice, water, dates, and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Heat until the cranberries start to pop and you can easily break up the cranberries by pressing them against the sides of the pan. The dates will break down in as the mixture warms up.
3. Continue to heat and press the cranberries against the sides of the pan until the sauce reaches your desired taste and consistency.
