SO HOW'D IT GO?

Oh my goooosh.......it tastes just like cheese sauce and it's so simple!! I'm also a big fan because it doesn't call for ground nuts and, no matter how long I leave them in the food processor- I still hate that gritty texture from the nuts in the mixture- this was smooth and creamy and CHEESEY!!

Yum!  I ate this with nachos and salsa.  I was scared to add the soy sauce, but it really gave the sauce flavor!  For spices I used chili powder, paprika and garlic powder.

this is my staple recipe!!  I like to toast all of the spices, flour and nutritional yeast first, then add in the marg, braggs and i like to add in mustard too.  mix it up.  then add in the water and let it reduce.  mmm so simple and easy.

YUM! I made this to be served with the Garbanzo Tacos on this site. I used soymilk instead of water too, but then it got SUPER thick, and I ended up adding about 2/3 cup of water or so to make it the right consistency. Next time I'll try half water, half soymilk. I added LOTS of garlic powder, garlic and herb seasoning, onion powder, chile powder, oregano, ground red pepper, only a dash of soy sauce, and about a teaspoon of salt. It made it like nacho cheese dip, REALLY good with chips and perfect for the tacos. I love that the ingredients are easy; personally I always have this stuff on hand. Thanks!!!

I just made this, its excellent. I made it with unsweetend plain soymilk instead of water and put it in my personal blender to make it extra smooth and creamy. I used a little chili powder, some mushroom flavored soy sauce, and salad seasonings with a bit of salt. Its the best cheese replacement ive ever had.  I am extremely allergic to dairy so ive no way to compare to real cheese, and my husband (anything but vegan doesnt like it but thats true of all vegan cheese). I on the other hand cannot wait to use this on EVERYTHING. Thanks so very much.
