Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts

What you need: 

1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts

1 large onion (chopped)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons ground pepper

1 pound fresh mushrooms

 

What you do: 

Step 1: in a large saucepan bring 4 to 5 cups water to a boil 

Step 2: put cleaned Brussels sprouts in the boiling water for 10 minutes or until tender 

Step 3: drain Brussels sprouts, run under cold water for 1 to 2 minutes, cut Brussels sprouts in half

Step 4: put Brussels sprouts, onions, mushrooms, olive oil, pepper, and salt in a fry pan, mix and fry until veggies are done and lightly browned should take about 10 minutes on med heat

Step 5: enjoy
