PB sandwich, depression-style
What you need:
your favorite bread
peanut butter
sweet pickles
What you do:
Its pretty simple, just an odd combination taught to me by a great-uncle who enjoyed this staple as a kid in the Depression. I didn't see how it could be good, but it was.

I think PB and pickle sandwiches are best when the pickles are REALLY sour!
I love using dill pickles.....We had this snack all year round. :)>>>
