SO HOW'D IT GO?

Well, I'm drinking this as I type, and it's really really good.  And it was ridiculously easy to make.  I think next time (and there will definitely be a next time) I'm going to cut down on the cocoa a little bit.  Typically, I'm not a cinnamon with chocolate kind of person, but it was soso good in this.

i ran out of espresso, so i needed something hot and warm in my tummy this morning! this was perfect. i followed a few suggestions and did half water, half soy milk, and also cut the cocoa and sweetener in half. i also replaced the sugar with agave nectar. finally, i traded the cinnamon for some nutmeg because i was in a particularly autumn-y mood this morning! (okay, i know it's july...but i couldn't help myself.)  ^-^ this totally beats any instant cocoa mix!

Good recipe. The only reaosn I gave it 4 stars is bcoz me & my man both thought it was a little bit too rich, which was easily remedied the second time around - I prefer it with less sugar, and he prefers w/ ricemilk which definitely thins it out.... Otherwise this is great

This was great.  I used stevia for a natural sugar-free version which turned out great, just make sure you use less stevia than sugar calls for as it's way sweeter.

This was pretty darn yummy  :)
The second time I made this was with some almond milk, it made it really nice and creamy (I would totally suggest this!).
Two thumbs up!

Very good! I didn't really have enough sugar, but I liked that the cocoa was more chocolate-y. I haven't had hot cocoa in so long...it was great!

Delishuss. (I gots to get me some vanilla, that'd make it even more betterer.)

To prevent lumps, I put the cocoa and sugar in a large bowl, pour over a tablespoon or two of hot water and whisk like crazy. THEN I add this to a mug and top up with more water and heated soy milk.

I also prefer it with half to three quarters water to soy milk, and only one tablespoon each of cocoa and sugar.

Just had a cup and it was delicious!  Used vanilla Almond Breeze, so didn't add the extra vanilla.  Also cut the sugar down to 1 tablespoon.  I think adding another one would have made it too sweet.  Thanks for the recipe!...

Okay so I've been doing the recipe incorrectly. I had been putting 1 tablespoon of both the sugar and cocoa powder. I tried it with two and I didn't like it at all. But the 1 tablespoon version is heavenly and I prefer it without the dash of cinnamon.
