Pizza Dip

What you need:

1 8 oz package of vegan cream cheese (I like WholeSoy brand)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or to taste. you can also add garlic, etc. if you want
2 cups shredded vegan mozzarella cheese, divided (I like to use lots of different
flavor combinations like mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan but its all up to you)
1/2 cup pizza sauce (regular pasta sauce can be substituted in a pinch but it really
doesn't work as well)
any toppings you would normally eat on pizza: vegan meats, veggies, etc. get creative

What you do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat the vegan cream cheese and seasoning with mixer until blended and the cream cheese is nice and soft.
Spread it on the bottom of a glass 9 pie plate.
Top with 1 cup vegan cheese. then top with pizza sauce. Put remaining vegan cheese on top of the sauce layer. At this point sprinkle on whatever topping you want or just leave it as it is.
Put the dip in the oven just long enough to heat it through and for the vegan cheese to get melty.
You can serve it with breadsticks, crackers, chips...its pretty versatile and really quick to make. I've brought this to family holidays and no one can tell its vegan.
I think the Wholesoy cream vegan cheese is the best consistency, but its really a matter of taste. Try your own variation - there's lots of room to play around with this. enjoy!
