Quick and Easy BBQ Chick Peas over Pasta

What you need: 

15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained
1/3 medium onion, chopped
about 10 oz eggless "egg" noodles or penne
1/3 cup your favorite BBQ Sauce
1 teaspoon vegan mayo
2 tablespoons vegan margarine
1 teaspoon chipotle
salt and pepper to taste

What you do: 

Spray a casserole dish with oil, mix above ingerdients until beans are well coated. Cover. Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hr.
Meanwhile, toward end of hour, boil pasta until tender. Either eggless "egg" noodles or penne would work best in this dish
Cook and drain pasta. Stir in chipotle, mayo, margarine and salt.
Dish pasta on plate and top with beans. Serve with slaw.
Source of recipe: Came up with this when I was looking for a quick, protein packed dinner that tasted good.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Hi, you combine the chipotle/mayo/BBQ sauce mix together to make a nice sauce and cover the pasta with it.

Hello there--are we supposed to cover the chickpeas with just the BBQ sauce, or do we divide the chipotle / mayo / margarine mixture between the chickpeas and the pasta?  Thanks!
