Raw Oat Burgers

What you need:

2 cups oat groats, sprouted 2 days
1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked 6 to 8 hours and rinsed
2 carrots, finely grated
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Spike seasoning, to taste
2 teaspoons flax oil
1 teaspoon oregano

What you do:

You can get oat groats at a health food store, they are the whole oat. You put them in a jar and fill with water to a little more than covered. Soak 8 hours and drain. (Put screen over the top, secure with rubber band) Let sit, rinse and drain am and pm for 2 days.
1) Process oat groats and sunflower seeds in a food processor with the "s" blade. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Season to taste.
2) Form into patties of your size and refrigerate 1 hour.
Serving suggestions: Serve on a bed of clover sprouts, sunflower sprouts around the edge with slices of avocado. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

;)b This is from a raw prep "cook" book. I have made these before, they are really good. Yes, I have also dehydrated, twas my hubby's idea. They taste better w/out dehydration, in my opinion.

Have you ever dehydrated them? If so, how did they come out.
