Rite-Meal

What you need: 

1 cup cooked brown rice

1/2 cup water or nondairy milk, or a combination of the two

1/4 tsp salt (makes for a buttery flavor)

 

optional-add to taste:

sweetener: stevia, rice syrup, etc.

nut butter or vegan butter

chopped nuts/fruit

raisins

nondairy milk

cinnamon

 

What you do: 

1. Add rice, milk or water, and salt to a blender and blend for 5-10 seconds, depending on how smooth you want the meal.  

2. Pour mixture into a small saucepan and stir over high until mixture becomes thick and creamy.  Stir in optional add-ins.

3. Spoon into a bowl and enjoy hot.
