Roasted Garlic

What you need:

1 garlic bulb
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 sprig fresh rosemary

What you do:

Peel any loose skins off the garlic bulb. Place garlic bulb in center of foil. Add olive oil and rosemary sprig. Close foil tightly, to keep oil from leaking out.
Place foil pouch in a preheated 250 Fahrenheit oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Remove foil pouch and allow garlic to cool before opening foil.
Use as desired. (Roasted garlic will hold in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.)

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I LOVE roasted garlic!  I usually roast it with a little salt as well.

If I have an afternoon where I don't have to 'talk' to anyone I'll slather a teeny tiny bit of olive oil on thinly sliced baguette bread, toast it, and slather it with the still warm roasted garlic. (Topping the teeny pile of goodness with a tiny drizzle of balsamic vinegar it delicious as well.)

I've been known to be intolerable to be around for nearly two days thanks to this delicious concoction!  :D  (People ASSURE me it's due to the garlic!  LOL)
