Scrambled Tofu on Toast

What you need:

1 lb tofu, frozen then thawed
turmeric
garlic powder
nutritional yeast
chicken-flavour seasoning
2 slices of bread
margarine
olive oil
salt and pepper

What you do:

Drain the tofu.
Heat some olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan over a low to medium heat.
Grate the tofu using the medium-large-ish holes on a vegan cheese grater (not the tiny ones).
When the oil is hot enough, add the tofu. Dont let the tofu brown.
Add the turmeric, a teaspoon at a time until you get your desired colour.
Add a teaspoon or so of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of the chicken-flavour seasoning, a large spoon or two of the nutritional yeast.
Add some salt and pepper and continue to lightly fry in the pan for five or so minutes.
Add a spoon of vegan margarine.
When the tofu is starting to look cooked, have a taste. If necessary, add more of either the turmeric, garlic powder, yeast or seasoning to reach required taste.
Keep frying until tofu is starting ever so slightly to brown.
Serve on top of buttered toast with a sliver of vegan margarine on top of the scrambled tofu.
I hated scrambled eggs when I was little because there was something weird, smelly and very wrong about cooked eggs, but this is tasty and smells yummy! Even my scrambled-eggaholic brother really liked this.
