Simple Bread Machine Wheat Bread

What you need:

1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
4 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

What you do:

1. Place ingredients in bread pan in order listed or according to manufacturer's directions.
2. When adding the yeast last, make a small well with your finger to place the yeast. This will insure the proper timing of the yeast reaction.
3. Use whole wheat or timed cycle, or according to manufacturer's directions.

Awesome! Thank you so much. I have made so many loaves in my bread machine, and the top always falls. This is the only recipe that has ever come out right. Thanks!

Hi Crappy Christian,
I love being vegan and even sourpusses like you can't take that away fropm me!  I don't claim to be perfect, and I can't do everything, but I don't let that prevent me from doing anything.
Have a great day!
Cheers,
Liz
PS This recipe looks great, can't wait to make it!
