SO HOW'D IT GO?

Thank you for this delicious recipe and for the beautiful photo.

It was my first time making pesto. My first attempt, I didn't know how much I was was supposed to put onto the pasta.  I doubled this recipe and put half into each plate of pasta, haha, it made me feel really sick.

Today I made it again (I still doubled the recipe because I have a lot of basil and no other use for it) and put a lot less pesto, about 2-3 tablespoons into each plate of pasta, it works out fine and is really delicious.  I'm full but I want more!  Haha.  Thank you very much :)

numm, numm, numm :) Only thing I changed is replaced 3-4 tbsp of the oil with lime jucie. My family always did it with the lime juice, adds a nice zing and less oil is always good.

Thanks!

Rivers, that is a beautiful photo! How do you and your family made homemade parmesan cheese? That sounds so intersting and I would love to try it!

You are so kind! If I like a recipe, I feel I owe it to the author to try and do it justice in my photographs (I only submit pics for recipes that my whole family enjoyed). I'm glad to hear positive feedback like that. Thanks!!! :-*

This was a very good pesto. We topped it with homemade vegan Parmesan sprinkles and that made it perfect! Thanks for sharing  :)
