Spicy Avocado Dip

What you need:

4 avocados
1 lime, juice only
1 large shallot, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, minced (plus more for garnish)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (I like pink Hawaiian)
2 tablespoons hot sauce
baked pita chips, for serving

What you do:

Pit and smash avocados.
Add lime juice, shallot, and cilantro. Mix. Add sea salt and hot sauce to taste, beginning with approximately half of the recommended amount. The amount needed will greatly depend upon the type of salt and hot sauce you use (and your personal preference).
Top with remaining cilantro and serve with baked pita chips.
This dip is best made and served the same day.

I ate this at MDVegan's house last week, and it's SO GOOD! I love guacamole, but this version has a great kick to it. I'm going to buy some avocados and make it myself later this weekend.
