SO HOW'D IT GO?

These are awesome!
I made these yesterday before going biking with the hubby, who can be hard to please when it comes to "those crazy health foods".....he loved 'em!

Out oven cooks on the hotter side of things, so it really didn't take any longer than 30-40 minutes to get a small can crispy! And they really do pop when they're close to done! I didn't follow the seasoning's to a T, but it seems they can take just about any kind of flavor you'd like to impart..

Great recipe. This will be a staple in our diet from now on. As much as we're hiking/biking/ect, I think I'll be using these in a trail mix. Thanks so much!

This is a great idea! I made this the first time according too the recipe. Since then I have made it and changed up the spices, to whatever I'm in the mood for; and cut out the oil completely. Instead I use 3 tblsp of lemon juice, which still adds flavor and holds the spices to the chickpeas. Thanks I love this snack.

Mmm. Made these in my toaster. I wish i would've baked them longer, but i'm impatient. I did for about 25 minutes so the outside is crispy and the inside is mushy and yummy. I used Jamacian Jerk seasoning, it was really yummy. I ate them before i could take a picture! Hah

i just made these.. pretty good, except a little to salty for me.. I even halfed the amount of salt in the recipe because I was reading all the reviews.  I also put them in for 30 min and they're still a tad mushy.  I used a toaster oven too which seems to cook everything twice as fast.. I'll make them again, but probably change things a bit.

I freakin' LOVE this recipe.  No one in my meat-eater family likes chickpeas, so I can make several portions of this all at once and keep them in the fridge without worrying about people stealing my goodies.  More for me!  These would probably make a good snack, if I could eat just a few.  I usually eat them as if they are a side dish with a black bean burger or a bean burrito.  Yum!  :)>>>

These are really good. I didn't have the cajun spice, so I kinda just made stuff up as far as seasoning goes. I used the chili powder, but also used garlic powder, onion powder and cayanne... maybe too much cayanne, they sure were spicy but soooo good.

Addictive is an understatement.
I made two cans worth for my family "craft day" - don't ask, we're dorks.
I added salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chipotle powder.  And way too much oil, but thats my own fault.
They were delicious!  I couldn't stop eating them.  No one else seemed to care for them, saying that I made them way too spicy, which was untrue, but my family is totally weenie when it comes to spice.
I ate about a can and a halfs worth....all by myself.  All in one day.
I even went out to the store to buy more chickpeas so I could make them again.
I just need to remember to use the spray oil this time.

these were great!  the only change i'll make next time is holding off the spices til later... by the time my chickpeas were crispy the seasoning had started to burn.
they are also delicious with curry powder instead of cajun seasoning.
