Super Easy Coleslaw (Oil-Based, Not Mayonnaise)

What you need: 

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (16-ounce) package coleslaw
1 cup brocolli flowerettes, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 carrot, chopped

What you do: 

1. Dressing: In a saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, canola oil, sugar, garlic powder, celery salt, and garlic salt; bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute while stirring.
2. Salad: In a bowl, combine coleslaw, brocolli, celery, and carrot.
3. Pour dressing over salad; toss to combine. Transfer to a plastic or glass container.
4. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then stir. Refrigerate for 2 hours, stirring every hour. Serve.
Source of recipe: My mother found this recipe and gave it to me. I changed a lot of things about it, and have made it my own. I really enjoy it and wanted to share.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I am in the process of making this recipe and wonder if the celery salt in the instructions is actually the celery seed in the list of ingredients ?
