Super Spicy Vegan Chili

What you need:

2 15oz cans of kidney beans
1 15oz can of white beans
2 29oz cans of tomato sauce
Package of Yves Crumblers, 816]Morningstar Farms® Grillers® Burger Style Recipe Crumbles or textured soy protein
1 large sweet yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 small can of diced jalapeno
8 cloves or garlic, minced
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
red pepper flakes
silken tofu (optional)
Franks Xtra Hot Sauce

What you do:

1. Saute onions and garlic in minimal oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until tender.
2. Add green pepper and canned jalapenos, continue stirring for 2 minutes.
3. Add spices with half a can of tomato sauce and red pepper flakes to taste. Now is a good time to check the level of heat and adjust to your preferences.
4. Add remaining tomato sauce, beans, and meat crumbles. Simmer until heated through or as long as you can stand to wait. I usually add about half a bottle of hot sauce after half an hour and simmer for at least two more hours (this stuff gets better, and hotter, with age). You can add half a cup of silken tofu if you like a thicker, saucier chili. Serve with vegan cornbread.
