Tasty Cinnamon Monkey Bread

What you need:

For the biscuits:
2 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 /4 cup sugar
1 cup water
For the tasty stuff:
3/4 stick of margarine (use your usual veg replacement)
ground cinnamon (to taste)
brown sugar (to taste)
powdered sugar for kneading dough

What you do:

Mix all the dry ingredients and then the wet. You can use a bread machine to make the dough but you can also just use your hands.
If using a bread machine: place all dry ingredients in first and then the wet. Put machine on dough cycle. When it is done take it out and knead it a little on a powdered sugar surface.
(Powdered Sugar is better to use than flour because it does not make the dough tough. ONLY use powdered sugar if you are baking something that you want to be sweet in the end.)
If using your hands: Knead the dough on a powdered sugar coated surface.
Let the dough rest and rise.
Cut dough into bite-size pieces and place in a one quart baking pan (I use glass because it doesn’t cause burning on the bottom of the bread as often).
Melt 3/4 stick of margarine and let it cool some. (If you use hot margarine the pieces of dough will stick together). Pour the cooled margarine over the pieces of dough and mix until coated.
Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon over the pieces and stir until coated.
Sprinkle a GENEROUS amount of brown sugar over the pieces and stir until coated.
Press all the pieces together on the side of the pan unitl they form a clump.
Sprinkle more brown sugar, if you want, over the top to create a crust.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, or until done. (you can use tooth pick to check. If the tooth pick slides out easily, then they are done. If it sticks a bit, then bake a little longer.)
You can serve it right out of the pan or you can flip it out on a plate and serve. (if you re planning to flip it out on a plate, I suggest laying parchment paper on the bottom of the pan so it doesn’t stick.)
Enjoy!
