Three Bean Salad

What you need: 

1 (15 ounce) can baked beans in tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can sliced/diced green beans
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans
1 large firm tomato (or 2 smaller), diced thinly
1 large onion, diced thinly
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh sweet basil
sea salt and coursely ground black pepper, to taste

What you do: 

1. Mix all the above together very well.
2. Leave to stand covered, either in the fridge or out of fridge for about 1 hour.
3. Remix before serving.
The finished product is quite liquid. Delicious as a side dish with other salads.
Some members of my family like to heat the oil, vinegar and vegan sugar, until the sugar dissolves, before adding to the rest. I normally double the whole recipe.
