Tofu Chow Mein

What you need: 

·        

Chow mein pasta

·        

Olive oil

·        

2 cloves garlic

·        

1 ½ inch ginger

·        

1 ½ cups vegetable broth

·        

1 pack regular tofu

·        

1 tbs arrowroot starch/ corn starch

·        

5 tbs soy sauce

·        

Onion

·        

Cabbage

·        

Carrots

·        

Bean sprouts

·        

Snow peas

·        

Green pepper

·        

Celery

What you do: 

1.      

Shred/thinnly slice vegetables and mix in a bowl

2.      

Cook noodles until tender, drain, set aside.

3.      

Fry onions, garlic and ginger. Add tofu fry a few minutes then add vegetables.

4.      

Mix vegetable broth, arrowroot starch and soy sauce.

5.      

Pour sauce over vegetable mixture. Cook on medium heat until done.
