Truly Rawkin Strawberry Creme Parfait

What you need:

1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen, though frozen is more ripe-thawed)
1/2 cup macadamias soaked for 1-2 hours drained
1/2 cup cashews soaked for 1-2 hours drained
1/4 cup agave + 1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

What you do:

First blend the nuts with oil, vanilla, teaspoon agave, and water until creamy.. start with less water and add as it blends..
Pour into bowl..
Then blend the strawberries with the agave until pureed. However, you can pulse them and they are good kind of chunky too.
Now layer some dessert dishes alternating between the strawberries and the creme. I am the only raw person in the household, so this and many of my other recipes are 1-2 servings... so double the recipe or use small dishes..
I eat it like this most of the time, but you can chill it for a couple hours and the creme will thicken! Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I substitute the macademia nuts with all cashews, and it was super delicious.  :)>>> Thank you so much!!!  :-*

I had a mix of brazil, hazelnut, & macadamia nuts that I'd processed (not soaked) that needed to be used, so I used them with this recipe instead of the pre soaked nuts. I also added a little salt (to bring out the sweetness) and more vanilla to the nut mix. End result was not as creamy as I think it should be, but still - delicious! Thanks for this extremely yummy recipe. I'll make it as per instructions next time - but it's nice to know you can alter it a bit and it still turns out good.
