Unusually Delicious PB&J with Pickled Ginger

What you need: 

2 slices whole wheat bread
peanut butter (I used organic creamy Smuckers)
jelly (I didn't have jelly so I used fig preserves)
1 banana
pickled ginger (IMPORTANT)

What you do: 

Assemble as you would a regular PB&J. Put the sliced bananas on one side and pickled ginger on the the other. I know it sounds strange, but this was absolutely delicious. The tartness of the ginger balanced the sweetness of bananas and jelly, plus it gave it a nice spicy flavor. Definitely eat it on picnic in the summer with a cold glass of iced tea.
