SO HOW'D IT GO?
I have to agree with shea. Two teaspoons of nutmeg and 3 of onion powder for only one cup of veggies is far and away too much. Even reducing the amounts, I don't think that it's a happy combination. Unless the "any other herbs" used by the original cook are what saved the day. It certainly didn't for me. I won't be using this again.
I had very high hopes for this recipe. No salt and pepper, easy and low fat... and I even set it up all pretty. But as soon as I nibbled on a green bean it was obvious the seasoning was horrible. I only added half the seasoning because I though 2 tsp nutmeg and 3 tsp onion would be bad. But even half of that was pretty gross. I tried adding salt, pepper, and even sugar. There was no saving these veggies.
Recipe: failed.
