Without the oil it was too tangy for me. I used 2T oil and 2T water which mellowed it.

great recipe - i've made it 3 or 4 times. sometimes i added olives and/or pickles. I also used steamed beets when i didn't have any bell peppers. Anyway i made it turned out great.
