These were really good! I followed the above comments and placed the mix in the refrigerator for a while before cooking to ensure the patties stuck together.
oh wow, I will have to try this. There is a Carribean restaurant here that serves Johnnycakes before your meal (similar to buns at other restaurants) and they are delicious.
