Very Simple Vegetarian Chili

Ingredients: 

one can of tomato sauce
one fresh tomato, diced
2 cans of kidney beans
one half onion, finely diced
tablespoon garlic (fresh is best)
at least one tablespoon chili powder (to taste)
one tablespoon cumin
one celery stalk

Directions: 

Spray some pam in the bottom of the sauce pan, and then cook onions, celery and garlic until they begin to carmelize. Add all other ingredients, bring to a simmer, and its done!
This is the mild recipe, so the spices should be adjusted to taste. I always throw in other ingredients if I have them on hand. This is great if you don't have much time.
