Tastes Like Apple Pie! Oatmeal

Ingredients: 

Oatmeal:
3/4 cup plain or vanilla nondairy milk (I use soy)
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 apple, sliced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon Topping:
2 teaspoons sliced almonds
1/4 cup plain or vanilla nondairy milk
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions: 

1. Oatmeal: In a pot, combine oatmeal ingredients. Cook on low heat, stirring once in a while so it won't stick.
2. Topping: When the milk has been absorbed, turn off heat and pour into bowl. Top with 1/4 cup nondairy milk, then sprinkle with brown sugar and sliced almonds. Enjoy.
Source of recipe: I was watching a cooking show and they made this. I tried it out, but changed a few ingredients. It's really tasty; exactly like apple pie! Only you can have it for breakfast or it makes a good snack. Hope you like it, too.
