Name that Orange Cat Vol. 2.0!

Okay, we need to name this guy:

http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/1236/shirtqt6.th.jpghttp://img515.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif

Things to know about him:

Cuddly to the EXTREME!
Playful
Curious
Meows constantly (and kinda sounds like a lamb, hence the "Lambert" option J insisted on)
Follows us everywhere
Huge, adorable eyes
Most affectionate cat ever and LOVES people

Okay, so cast your votes, and if you have any other ideas please post them! We want a name that is distinctly a cat-name. We've tried watching him and getting to know him, but nothing seems to fit just right.

:(

I vote strongly against Pumpkin. I hate obvious names on pets (things like "Oreo" for a black and white animal, "Tiger" for a tabby, and "Midnight" for a black animal go into this category too --- though I am admittedly nuts).

Agreed.  "Hershey" for a brown animal (specifically chocolate labs) can also be filed under this catagory.  And I am admittedly sane  ;)

I really like Pouncival out of the choices listed.

This was my first time seeing Lambert.

I don't remember seeing it before, either.  :)>>> I'm changing my vote.

eta: Rude! We can't change. I vote for Lambert.

I can't believe Lambert is winning. Josh will be so proud.

:-D

eta: I don't know, after watching that video again (without sound, since I'm in a lab) I may have to agree with the Lambert one.... That is too adorable.

I beg to differ from all of you guys.

How about " MOWGLI" ?

Isn't naming an orange cat Pumpkin kind of like naming a black cat Midnight?

POUNCIVAL!  :D

I love the name pouncival! It's a great name :D

Yea my cats growing up were all named after teas. My parents still have Earl Grey - a big grey persian, and Lipton - a tortoiseshell moggy (but we all call Lipton "little girl" most the time). Gumboot and PG Tips are sadly no longer with us.

That's a fantastic idea. And I'm stealing it. If I had an orange tabby, I'd probably name him/her Orange Pekoe, Pekoe for short. Other names from tea, hmm... Celeste, Cammy, Cinnamon, Apple, Zhena, Herb/Erb... there are so many! Awesome.

Hehe yea I always thought it was awesome because there are lots of teas so you can easily match a tea name to any cat's personality and looks :D And tea is delicious. Feel free to steal!

Ooh and the Lambert video is sho cute!

We decided!

After playing with him today and seeing him jump nearly 3 feet and do a little twist midair just to chase a toy, we decided he is certainly a "Pouncival."

And we'll call him Pip for short.
