My cat Delilah passed away this afternoon.
She was sleeping under the car and my husband didn't know....
Please keep us in your good thoughts, especially him. he is taking this very hard.

So sorry for your loss. The same thing happened to my kitten snickers when I was younger, and I know how hard it is. I will keep your whole family in my prayers. And I think reading Coraline will be wonderful.
A similar thing happened to my kitty a number of years ago. I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry fufu :'( That happened to a kitten of mine when I was a kid. *hugs*
I beginning to feel at peace with it. I was putting some things she would have liked on her grave today: a twig from the curly willow tree she liked, a black feather I found in the yard, and I planted a start from my moss rose there, and while i was planting the flowe, a tiny purple butterfly came and landed on her grave, then fluttered around my head and flew away.
It might be silly, but I think maybe she sent it to let me know she's happy. We were supposed to watch Coraline together and never got to.. i think i'm gonna get the book and read it to her.
That's so sweet about the butterfly. Hope you are still feeling better...sending positive energy your way.
