So, all y'all expressed interest in coming to my humble abode in Hartford for a vegweb shindig, of sorts.
Let's plan, shall we?
Let me mention first off that Bostoners can come to Hartford via the Megabus for quite cheap. Or carpool. Albany peeps could carpool as well. All of you in the Connecticut/New York/Massachusetts area are invited!
I am available these weekends:
January 30th
February 6th
February 13th (Valentines Weekend)
February 20th
March 7th
And beyond that, but let's stop right there for now.
What say you, friends? I am thinking a potluck with a theme. If we do it around Valentine's (or even if not) we could totally do an ironic love theme. Either way, I'm making cumcakes and penis/vagina cookies. Because how often do you get to do that?
I have a lovely kitchen, a futon, and a decent amount of floor space, though we'd need some cushioning for the floor sleepers (wood floors). You could stay the night or just come for the day.
Thoughts? I want to do something that we all like. We can have games, drinks, movies, presents, etc.

What time is everyone arriving? It turns out that I can only stay there untill about 8/8:30 >:( and no drinking cause of that and....just boooo! is all I can say! At least I get to go for part of it. My date and i are dressing 80's cas, becasue he could not find something he liked for dressing up....humm...okay....what are people making? I'm planning on home made pasta something..... ???
Assuming an on time departure and minimal turbulence, estimated arrival for my car including algae, stillflat, celtkat, and celtkatguest is 3 PM. I'm never going to get tired of these airplane references.

There has been a change of plans and I, unfortunately, cannot make it due to personal reasons beyond my control! I am so so so so sorry that I will be missing this! Thanks again, Jamie, for offering to drive me! Maybe next time? To make up for this, I would be totally willing to host the next bash at my place! All are welcome! I was really looking forward to meeting everybody!

I'm wearing a formal-ish eighties ensemble I put together. I'm ridiculously excited about it.
You all can dress however. But it will be more funnnnnn if you dress up......

Minor dressing up for Cali & LB. Though its just going to be put together that morning. hahaha I haven't dug around enough to find what I want yet.
I don't have any coolio things to wear! But I'd hate to be the party pooper. How about I come decked out in full ski gear, goggles and all 8) Looking forward to seeing everyone's unique getups!
By the way for food I'm bringing Texas Trash with scoop chips and a broccoli with olive oil/thyme dish. Both are good at room temp, no re-heating required. And a 12 of Harpoon beer too.
I so totally just picked up my outfit at the evil walmart for $13. hahhaha Now if only they had Tshirt slides my ensemble would be complete. Bah!
