Official California Potluck Logisitics Thread (PLEASE READ)
Hi everyone,
As co-chair of the invitation committee for the 2009 California Potluck (aka Sconefest) I need the following info from everyone interested in attending:
Would you be available to attend on August 8th, 2009?
If not, when would you be available? Be as specific as possible and limit yourself to August, please.
I know that it's a year away, but we need to start gauging level of interest and commitment now in order to plan effectively. Otherwise, next summer will roll around and no one will know what's going on. Just trying to prevent mass chaos/anarchy/tears/hurt feelings/wasted money.

hey AC----- how big of an area is Missoula? I'm on a computer at my school's library, being bored (they've blocked youtube but not vegweb! hahaaa) and I saw that there's a few people in the Missoula area on here. Maybe you're not too far away from them?

Ok, dudes, Josh and I are a tentative "yes". I freaking love San Fran and would love another great reason to visit, but I don't know what the $$$s will be for us then. Will keep you posted ;)b

I would be able to host a few vegwebbers! Must not be allergic to cats or old furniture, because my house is chock full of both :)
i asked my mom if we could go to california again this year, and she said probably not as a family, but that i could fly out by myself. i'm not sure if i'd do it. flying alone is always scary. especially flying alone to meet internet people.. but a vegweb potluck is very tempting. i need to think about this.
