Western CT Potluck - October 4, 2008

Who would be interested in coming to my house for a potluck? Danbury CT is easily reachable via car off of I84, Metro North Train and even Amtrak.
The date is October 4th and anyone is welcome from 10am till 10pm (or later if prior arrangements have been made, like a pup tent!).
My kitchen is not huge but I have enough entertainment area that even if it rains we can still have quite a crowd.

It was so nice to see all of you! Watching beeps and cammers fit their asses into the same pair of pants was the funniest thing I've seen in a good, I don't know, couple weeks or so.
Z, let's get together and make cigar box crafts!
Cammers, sorry the Hulk Hogan thing didn't work out. FTR, I still think Hulk Hogan is a less douche-y answer than Hitler.

Those pictures were from the first two hours, before Kate or Zealia had arrived. I am downloading more off my camera an hope to get some more up on blogger before I leave for work!
WOW, I had a GREAT time!!!! We have some freaking amazing cooks on these boards- I still feel stuffed...no joke.

Oh, you know what was funny...I expected at least SOMEONE to be totally different than I imagined them to be...but with the exception of Cali's DH, everyone is pretty much like you'd imagine them to be from the boards...weird. :o

Isn't that great? All of the VWers I've met--Cali, kennedy, bp, camillus, and zealia--look and act exactly like I'd expect. Which is nice. Makes me feel like the interwebs aren't that far removed from real life.

Thanks cali for hosting the partay! I (obviously) had a great time, so much so that BP and I were talking about all the fun stuff and the food the whole ride home.
It was so nice to meet you KMK and Zealia! Those games were nuts, but I am still a bit miffed that Hitler got more votes than The Hulk Hogan. *Cammy sings, "I am a real American, fight for the rights of every man (and woman, and trans)."*
I ate way too much and am proud of every bite, even though I had a bit more to carry while rock climbing.
P.S. I hope to get more pics out and about.
