Entrée for a potluck? Not chili...

I saw a thread on potlucks, but pretty much everyone recommended chili which is the last thing I would bring to a potluck. I have appetizers already planned but I need a main dish. Something more exciting than stirfry, and that will reheat and travel well. It's not a vegan potluck so I want to impress the omnivores. Any main dish ideas? I'm not scared of elaborate recipes or ethnic cuisine.
enchiladas
lasagna
curry/dahl/thai curry
pizza
stuffed something (peppers, zucchini, mushrooms)
shepherds pie
....
I vote dahl.
everything already listed sounds good
turnip/collard greens
daiya mac and cheese
asian style green beans
chana masala
You know, dahl and chana masala are the best dishes I make. I took an Indian vegetarian cooking class. I would have automatically made that but I was wondering how it will look, presentation wise. I'm worried that no one will want to try it next to the chicken and bbq ribs.
Trust me it will smell so good they won't be able to resist. If you have a rice cooker and crockpot, you can take the rice in the cooker and plug it in set to "warm"; cook your dahl and put it in the crockpot on the lowest setting. They will stand well and you don't have to worry about spillage.
Yabbit...that's such a great idea! I was thinking about how it would look in a foil pan. This is a huge potluck. Everything will be served buffet style so I can't put it in a nice bowl and decorate with bay leaves. It will look better in a crockpot.
