Kosher, celtic and other salts

I just got an email with a link to this recipe:

and it got me to wondering.  Is there a big difference in taste between kosher, celtic and other salts that don't come in round cartons at the grocery store?  I have some kosher salt and know there's a huge difference between it and table salt, but is there a similar taste difference between kosher and celtic?

I don't know...I've heard that salt is salt, chemically speaking.  The difference between them that I know of is the texture, but doesn't come into play if you're dissolving the salt in a soup or something.  I know most chefs on TV say they prefer Kosher (coarse) salt.

Excuse my idiocy, but why put salt in your bath water? I know people do, but...don't you have to rinse it off after?

I know my co-op sells celtic salt in the bullk foods section. I've never bought it, but I take a look at it each time because it looks slightly damp and is multicolored. It would be so cool to have one of those old fashioned salt cellars with tiny spoons and then fill it with celtic salt for a fancy dinner.

  We use small ramikens filled with kosher or sea salt for salt cellars. We keep one on the counter for cooking and one on the table for salting our food in the dish. They work well and can be gotten fairly cheap. We never bother with little spoons though, just pinch a bit between our fingers and sprinkle away.
