microwave nut loaf??

I was wonerering if anyone knows if I can cook a nut loaf or something similar for Christmas dinner in a microwave.I hate cooking with them and never do but I am desperate as I have no oven.
Merry Christmas to all :)

I would definitely experiment before hand, but Morning Star Farms makes microwavable nut loaf.  It was probably baked at one time, but you could use cooked ingredients and use the micro to "set it" and get it warm.  Maybe top with cracker crumbs for that crispy edge?
Are you stuck on a nut loaf for Christmas Dinner?  You will probably have better results if you wait until you can pick up a toaster oven.
What if you approached it more like a pancake?

thanks for your reply.  :)
I'm not totally set on a nut loaf I just can't really think of another option. I live in Japan so I can't buy any thing premade, there are no meat alternatives, just  loads of tofu.  I have a toaster oven, do you think that would be a better idea? pancakes could work too? with nuts? would i use the same ingredients and just cook it really slow? Sorry  I'm not a very good cook and have a lot to learn as my interest in cooking has taken along time to develop. I'm starting to enjoy it now and can see myself turning into a real fan.  especially with the help of the people on this site

I should think the toaster oven would work, you might want to make 2 smaller ones instead of one big one. There is a Delicious! nut-loaf recipe on this site which I reviewed a couple of times. It is awesome.

I agree; I think the toaster oven would work.  But do divide it into smaller loaves.  And keep and eye on the cook time; you'll want to decrease it, but not in half.

thank you both for your advice. I'll give the toaster oven a go, it is a much nicer way to cook as well. There will only be me and my boyfriend  :'( so one small one should do. I will try to do a test run to see how it goes before. If I can't have my family I need some food that will make it feel like chrissy.
Merry christmas

just wanted to say I made the Holiday Lentil nut loaf in the toaster over and it was fantastic. I just divided it in half and it didn't need long to cook. I topped it off with mushroom gravy and it was delicious.
thanks again :)
