Is nuttelex ok to use instead of earth balance for a pie crust recipe?

Well here in Australia we don't have earth balance, and in a lot of the vegan pie recipes i've found require earth balance. Just wondering if it would be okay to use other margerines instead?
Just i've heard earth balance is meant to be really special yeah?
