Salsa problems..NEEDS SPICE?

I made some salsa, pretty much followed ingredients on a store bought salsa, and went with my instincts. Now its not spicy enough, in fact, its sweet. ??? Ive added 2 jalenpanos (sp?) and 1 habanaro pepper. I have another habanaro, but I'm not sure thats a good idea. :-\ Ive tried adding salt, letting the salsa sit to soak in, and even getting the juice out of the peppers. Any ideas?? Should I add the other habanaro? :'( please help.

Add a bit of cumin, garlic powder and chili powder.  I can't imagine salsa without those flavors in there!

ok amigo check it out salsa that you get in store is very lame recipe. do not add water or vinager to your salsa hand that will help keep hot flavors. i make salsa verde(green) and it is delicious. just take 2 green tomatoes or red if you like, 1/2 red onion sliced, 1 habenero and 2 jalapenos( i use ceranos because they have spice and flavor, put in blender and mix. when done add salt to taste. also many habaneros are not as hot as others make sure to use red savina habenero or chocolate habenero for smoother taste

Yes. Don't forget the cilantro.

My brother makes about the best salsa.  It is fresh tomatoes skinned and seeded, lots of onions, jalapenos and regular fire roasted mild chilis of some type, loads of garlic and fresh cilantro.  Don't skip on the cilantro!  At least that was his advice.

Now I don't like a hot salsa, I like a full flavored one.  Senor Ala Deanorino's is just right (his name is Alan Dean).

one more thing... tomatillos.  they look like green tomatos with dried leaves encasing them.  theyre kind of sweet as well.  not sweet like sugar, but a different kind of sweet.  i cant explain it.
