Sprouting Beans/eating raw beans and grains????

I would like more info. on sprouting beans.  Does any one else eat raw grain and beans?
I had lots of success with this recipe from Martina Navratilova's latest book.

When I get a recipe I like try to vary it. I unexpectedly sprouted red/pink lentils and mung beans when I soaked them with  wheat berries.  I had to soak it for a full day because the wheat berries need to be soaked longer.  I made a salad with a large tomato, spinach and a dressing of olive and raspberry balsamic vinegar. :D

Thanks,

I guess I am more interested in actually a guide of sort for how long you need to soak assorted beans and grains for them to be eaten raw.  Also if there are members who regularly eat them and can give any advice. :D

Thanks,

I recommend the EasySprout from www.sproutamo.com.  You don't have to do a lot of watering/rinsing for most seed types and it has a very small footprint (the size of a big drinking glass).

It's almost foolproof: any pamphlet that comes with a sprouter, or a website that sells sprouting seeds, should mention how long you have to soak the seeds.  After that, they do their thing.  I remember having to rinse often and fuss a bit using a mason jar, years ago... this is easier.
