OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!
my "boyfriend" who's in japan hasn't called me in a month. he said it was because of his shitty phone and some other probably made up bull crap. he also hasnt gotten online in a month so ive had no contact with him. i thought i'd be a pretty high priority, but i guess not because apparently having a 20 comment long conversation via facebook status is more important than sending your girlfriend just a message? like i dont fucking care that he was catching up with people. im glad that he did that, but im pissed that he didnt even try to contact me. im so upset right now. i dont even know what to do with myself. i dont know if i want to cry, or yell, or just not give a fuck and just end it. FUCK! :'( :-[ >:(

Yeah, it sounds like he's already "ended it" in a passive-agressive, out of sight out of mind sort of way. By not getting in touch for 3 whole months, he's saying it with silence.

I think He will try to use Japan and "the distance" to break it off with you when he gets back. He was probably hoping you wouldn't notice he was ever online. Dude...you deserve a guy who would call you every chance he got just to say hello and that he's thinkin about you.
If you're "the girlfriend" and you want to be an important priority, and you're not, it's probably not going to change. He should be paying more attention to you. I'm not going to tell you to dump him, because I know that's hard and it's a personal choice. What I am going to say is that you deserve better and I hope you go for that.
Something exciting must be going down in Japan that gives people the idea that they don't have to contact loved ones.
My dad has been working there for a year & a half and last time I heard from him was last November.
