Reasons to frown

Ok, so we have a smiling thread. This thread is for all of the little dumb things that make you frown, or angry, or sad, etc., etc.
I'll start. I had chili for lunch today. I brought some crackers for the chili and a banana for breakfast. THE CRACKERS ABSORBED THE BANANA FLAVOR THROUGH THE BAG, SO I HAD BANANA FLAVORED CHILI FOR LUNCH! >:(

Someone pulled out of the church parking lot at the corner of 5th and Tyrone, side swiped my daughter who was riding in the bike lane and then shouted obscenities at her as they took off. Wow, that's all I'm saying.

She says she's okay, but when the person swiped her she automatically put her foot out to catch herself on the curb to keep from falling over and she jammed her foot hard on the curb and is limping a little. I'm thinking of letting the minister know what someone pulling out of his church did in case he wants to work it into one of his Sunday sermons on what Jesus wouldn't do.
Dang Storm!! I would go tell the minister. I'd also probably try to find the driver of the car (if your daughter remembered the type of car). So scary!! Glad she's (mosty) ok.

Sorry about your daughter. Hope she is ok! I also hope the guy that did it pays the consquences of his actions. It's not cool to hit someone (even by accident) and then shout obsenities at them. If he was a decent guy, he would've said sorry and made sure she was ok.

I've been reading your updates over the past few days and I'm sorry that you've been having a rough time. As I began to think of what I could do to help you through (if anything), I thought about your posts over the time I've known you. These are the posts that have shown me the real person you are.
You're a smart, strong, courageous, independent, strong-willed, caring, loving, compassionate, awesome, and beautiful woman..inside and out. To state the obvious: you're the shit.
I realize we all have our down days. Have you read my depressing posts? lol! We all have our down days. I know something about those days and I know you. Don't let these down days bring you down. Don't let these days control you. Don't let these days take you hostage. These down days ain't got shit on you, Lauren. Josh's orders are that you take the time to remind yourself how awesome of a person you are.

I'll join you guys in your misery. I just developed a head cold a few days ago. My partner had it last week, my supervisor had it, everyone in all the cubicles around me at work had it, I guess it's inevitible (I can never spell that word right). I think my immunity is down due to the stress of school finals this week. However, I just Aced my Medical terminology final and course so I am at least happy about that! I had a stomach virus at the start of this semester. This is my first completed semester of college in 17 years. I'm gonna have to learn to calm down if I am going to make it through the rest of school this time. Geesh.

I think I had a 24-hour flu type of deal happening on Monday, but I was sick for several weeks right before so I was just like oh come ON! I'm better now, but I'm still pretty stressed out about christmas and a speech I have to give tomorrow (and have just started writing..)
