Reasons to frown

Ok, so we have a smiling thread. This thread is for all of the little dumb things that make you frown, or angry, or sad, etc., etc.
I'll start. I had chili for lunch today. I brought some crackers for the chili and a banana for breakfast. THE CRACKERS ABSORBED THE BANANA FLAVOR THROUGH THE BAG, SO I HAD BANANA FLAVORED CHILI FOR LUNCH! >:(

I keep waking up at 3 AM. Hope to sign up for some more physio (massage) this week and change that.
Small bed, two people--not enough room.
Someone came into my office and stole one of my Starbuck's coffee mugs. It was a limited edition worth nearly $50.00.

The worthless piece of shit site manager is totally blowing it off. He's decided that I accidentally took it home and just don't remember because he doesn't like the idea that someone in this office took it. That's right, I accidentally put my coffee mug in my purse, took it home, removed it from my purse and put it away in my cabinets all without noticing. Asshole!
My arthritis has flared up badly today and I've had some where between 2 and 3 hours of sleep. :(
I didn't get to go to NYC this past weekend.
I didn't get to meet IdrilAsphodel.
People around me have failed.

And no..I'm not projecting onto others or refusing to take ownership. This past week's mistakes weren't my fault and this was something that could have been avoided. My NYC plans were cancelled because of other people's mistakes. It bummed the hell out of me all weekend.
Blah.

BUT!
What's done is done. I'm trying to refocus on today and the future. I will be in NYC one day soon. I will meet the people I've wanted to meet for a long while. I will take ownership of my things and my situations and will do on my own. I will do it alone and I will push ahead. :)

Shell, i am so sorry for the loss of Gary, she was one of the companions that made me smile everytime i read about her. :( I am going to miss her.

My arthritis continues to suck. Why it flared up is a mystery. I've been taking my shots regularly and it's in the upper 70s here so cold is not an issue.

Storm, you and I me both. Plus DH has a cold which makes him snore something awful. He hasn't snored since August, when he was on Valium AND Tramadol. At the same time.

haven't heard back PG... accounting is pretty easy when it comes to finding jobs so i am not too worried... kinda glad to be out of that hell hole and leave all that mountain of work behind me!
