Reasons to frown

Ok, so we have a smiling thread.  This thread is for all of the little dumb things that make you frown, or angry, or sad, etc., etc.

I'll start.  I had chili for lunch today.  I brought some crackers for the chili and a banana for breakfast.  THE CRACKERS ABSORBED THE BANANA FLAVOR THROUGH THE BAG, SO I HAD BANANA FLAVORED CHILI FOR LUNCH! >:(

Getting shitty sleep due to random itchiness, aching bones, and swollen tonsils.  :(

I just realized a week ago was 2 years since my friend was killed...... And now i'm thinking of how the last few months of his life i didnt talk to him at all not realizing i'd never be able to again.

And realizing this. I realize my final paper and other homework is not going to get done tonight.

Sorry to hear, uS. How did he die?

I watched The Notebook tonight. Bad idea. I've seen it before, but didn't remember the Alzheimer's bit of it.  :-\ I began bawling at the end. I couldn't even watch the last tid bit of it. I instead went out on the balcony and smoked and called my mom. She was sleeping (it was 1:30am her time) but I needed someone to talk to. My Nana died of Alzheimer's a little over a year and a half ago- April Fool's day, '08. I never got to see her when things got real bad. I was in a program at the time and my parents thought I'd get too upset. Then they forbade me from going to her memorial service. Last November, her husband, my Poppy, fell on his stairs and had some bleeding in his brain that resulted in stroke-like symptoms. The doctors thought he wouldn't be able to walk again, but he's a fighter, and sure enough, he is. The Notebook made me think so much about my Nana & Poppy. I miss them so much. I told my mom that I want to go visit my Poppy. I hope she'll support me in this decision, rather than doubt my stability again....

Awe, tl. I hope he keeps doing better and you get to have a good visit.

My friend was murdered. Eh. His friend shot him one day when him and their friend were hanging out at that assholes house. Some friend. This kid was my bestfriend in 1st grade, and he played with me when no one did in elementry school. He was the tallest kid, i was the shortest. We were a kickass team.  <3

Reason - i've had this horrible pain in my left lung/rib area for like, 24 hours. It hurts so bad to breathe and move. Ugh. I'll look stuff about it up when i get back from class if i still have it. I hope it goes away asap. Breathing is so freaking hard.

Yesterday I was sick and everyone was at home.  Do you think anyone did any of the things I would normally be doing?  Maybe unload the dishwasher and put all the dirty dishes that are accumulating in? ...maybe make mom some soup? maybe take the damn overflowing trash? wait someone did actually do that.  Maybe do a load of laundry or two?

They basically did nothing except take one bag of trash and put it out on the deck...didn't even bother to put it out in the trash can.  So now this morning, even though I am still sick I have a crap load of things to do because I can't stand looking at it...not to mention they will have no clean dishes or clothes.

uS- That's horrible. This is yet another reason why I'd glady replace the rest of the humans with beagles. Oh, and do your ribs/lungs feel any better? Does it feel like someone is stabbing you? If so, I have had that happen too many times. No idea what from though.

thhf- Ah! I hate that!!! It reminds me of when I'd go out of state for some reason or another, and as a welcome home gift, I'd get a sink full of dishes waiting for me. Classic.

It still feels horrible, i think i know the pain you mean, but this is worse than anything i've ever had before; and its been at least 24 hours. I looked it up, it sounds exactly like everything i've found about pleurisy. Which can be serious or not.

My best friend is going to be drug tested tomorrow morning and she's not going to pass.  She knows its her fault, but I'm still frowning.  I'm crossing my fingers for her.

A few hours ago I took an antihistamine..my husband just called and said we need to drop off my car at the mechanics (30 miles away) tonight. He is coming from the opposite direction so I am to meet him there at 6:00.  I feel like I am in a coma! Seriously, drugs stay in my system a long time. I don't want to drive! I am now drinking coffee in the hopes of snapping myself out of this drugged, incapacitated feeling.  :-[

Hey TTHF, that sucks. Mothers are totally underappreciated beings. I know I show mine more and more respect as I get older. This might make you smile: http://www.uexpress.com/dearabby/?uc_full_date=20060703

Doesn't seem like it (unfortunately, they left all the bills though too!). Luckily, my manager was keeping an eye out for the mailman so when he delivered my 3 month prescription refill (10 days early), I got 'em! The $$ dad's sending should be here tomorrow. I'll have to go in to the post office to get that.

Right when i got excited because everything was going as planned and about to bake him cookies, my friend Zachary texted me saying he probably wont be able to come see me tomorrow as planned. I'm super bummed. I've been looking forward to this for a month now. This is pretty much the only time hes coming to Florida until his band tours here, and tour is nowhere around where i live so i dont even get to go to that.

Went grocery shopping with the BF and a friend who is making a huge omni meal tonight for a big group of people. We went to this giant fresh market and had to walk through the ICKY meat stands to get to the veggies. I just kept my eyes on the floor and tried not to breathe in or smell anything. Ugh. She felt sorry for me, so we went to an outside exit to wait, but because it was raining hard we had to stand under the roof RIGHT next to a chicken stand where they were killing LIVE chickens and dressing dead ones. I had to move, but the only other alternative was next to a fish stand where I saw a fish slapped against a wall and get its head chopped off.  :( Definite FROWN! Ugh. And my stomach is all queasy.

EWWWW! Sorry, wn. I always avoid the meat sections. If I have to walk through them, I hold my breathe and look away too. When I was younger, I always waved at the lobsters and told them sorry.
