Well, keep in mind that the point is to vote for/pick your FAVORITE thing, and THEN... we would be challenged to make a recipe, or however we do it. I don't think it's been decided or discussed much how we will do the iron chef, or whatever.
eta: the only other list I can think to do is oils, but I think olive would obvs win?

Yeah, all the vegetables and fruits have been taken care of. Maybe chilies is our last game!?
Ok, so how do we want to do the EG Iron Chef thing? Or something else?
I'm thinking that we can either require you use all the winners in the dish, or use like at least 5.
everything else, we can do like vegweb iron chef - max 2 entries per person (or we can do 1?), have a couple of weeks to make a recipe, then the recipes are published, then we have some weeks to make it. then we vote on a winner. i'm thinking for voting, we should do write-ins instead of a poll, just to keep things fair (versus lurkers voting for what sounds tasty). Or if we want to be anonymous, e-mail it to one person.
for publishing all this stuff, we can do a thread here, or if someone still has keys to the blog and beeps is cool with it, use the old blog http://veganchefbattle.blogspot.com/ . It probably wouldn't be too hard to do the recipes on here, though.
Let's wait until the gift exchange is over, then talk about this some more!
