Superstar VegWebber of the Week: krista82!

This week's SuperStar VegWebber is fairly new to the community but is so extra awesome, we must celebrate her! krista82 (http://vegweb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=139264) is fun, funny, and has one of the cutest dogs I've ever had the luck to lay eyes on. Dakota, I love you! If you're interested in getting to know krista82 better, read her answers below, and then get to chatting. Yay VegWeb!

Vegwebber since April 28th. I didn't start posting to the forums until October.

Vegan since spring of 2006

Where do you call home? Michigan!

What do you do when you're not on VegWeb? bake, read, spend time with my family and friends, go to coffee shops, spend time with my dog, usher at my church, attend bible study, do what I can to help others and try to make the world a better place

Do you have a blog or website? No blog or website

Do you tweet? Yes I do but not very often. My Twitter handle is Krista_Rodgers

One unique thing should know about you? I look like a kid but am actually close to 30! haha

What's the best thing about being vegan? Knowing that I am not contributing to the suffering of animals. I have opened my mind up to so many new foods since becoming vegan. The food is delicious!

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven't succeeded at yet? Making good caramel apples. Every time I have tried to make them, the caramel just didn't come out right and stick to the apples.

#1 cooking secret/tip? Put a lot of love into whatever you are making, it honestly makes a big difference

Best music to cook by? I don't really cook or bake to any music. I sometimes have the tv on in the background though.

Three people you would most like to have dinner with? Any cool vegans!

All time favorite restaurant? Woody's Oasis (Middle Eastern food), PF Chang's or Brick Road Pizza Co

French fries or ice cream? Definitely french fries. I am a potato gal!

Soy milk, rice milk or almond milk? Almond milk for cereal, cooking and baking. Soy milk for coffee.

Tofu, tempeh or seitan? Tempeh!

Laura, thanks for saying nice things about me and my dog. I wish you could meet him, he's a darling. He's definitely a very lovable and fun mutt.

It's nice to be the VegWeb star this week.
